Zimbra Free/Busy support in Apple iCal
Monday, September 8th, 2008Syncing your Zimbra calendars in iCal using CalDAV now displays free/busy information, comparing your calendar schedule with the availability of others when scheduling appointments.
To view free/busy information, schedule an appointment on your (or another person’s) Zimbra calendar in iCal. In this appointment I am scheduling a meeting on my own Zimbra calendar to request a meeting at 11 A.M. with John, one of my coworkers.
Enter a name for the appointment, then click ‘Add Attendees’:
Next, enter the email address of the person you would like to invite to the event in the ‘Attendees’ field:
