On Saturday night, July 31, 2010, the upgrade of the 01.com Zimbra cloud to 6.0.7 went well, with less than 4 hours downtime to accommodate the upgrade from Zimbra 6.0.6 to Zimbra 6.0.7.

The upgrade was scheduled and announced at the public 01.com live systems status and up-time reporting page: http://status.01.com/ As noted there, additionally, a ZCS 6.0.7 patch will be applied Monday night, resulting in less than 5 minutes of service interruption.

        

Serving clients in more than 100 countries from its Chicago headquarters, Zimbra Gold Partner 01.com upgraded its Zimbra cloud to version 6.0.5 Saturday night, from 10PM until about 4AM central (GMT-6).

01.com, the leading, hosting/SaaS provider and technical consulting company dedicated to supporting email for organizations worldwide using the open-source based Zimbra Collaboration Suite, is pleased to announce we have begun the installation of and migration to a new enterprise phone system this week.

We expect the new, materially upgraded system to provide benefits to our customers, not limited to:

1. Reduced call-wait times
2. Improved call quality
3. More accurate call routing

We expect the first phase of the installation and migration to occur between September 15 and November 15, 2009.  Work in the second phase, beginning thereafter, will occur primarily behind the scenes, delivering further integration to improve our ability to identify and serve you better, with less delay and more innovative features.  Read more... Zimbra Gold partner host and consultant 01.com, Inc. has moved up plans to upgrade its Zimbra cloud hosting environment to version 5.0.18 from 5.0.16.  Note that a security patch was installed on July 1, and that version 5.0.17 was renamed as version 5.0.18 by Zimbra to accommodate an early release to address an issue not impacting our users.  Read more...
